Graciela Mochkofsky, NF’09
Graciela and her husband, Gabriel, have launched a new Web site—
www.elpuercoespin.com.ar
—as a personal experiment with new ways of informing the world about the digital age. At the same time, they are preparing a more expansive Web site that will provide full digital media for Argentina. For this project, they have finished their business plan and are beginning to seek funders. She writes, “None of this would have been possible without our Nieman year and the support of the Knight Foundation.”
Graciela published a story about her Nieman experience last December in
Brando
,
a monthly magazine in Buenos Aires.
- April 2010
Nieman Fellowships for Latin American journalists are supported by a generous grant from the
John S. and James L. Knight Foundation
. The Nieman Foundation values the long relationship it has had with the Knight Foundation in educating journalism leaders who work throughout Latin America.
