Speakers
Speakers at the 2008 Nieman Conference on Narrative Journalism come from newspapers, magazines, radio, television, Web sites, documentary film, literary agencies, J-schools, and institutes of journalism.
They are authors of best-selling books and winners of Pulitzers, Emmys, and Peabodys. They include experts on Web design and practitioners of the podcast.
Together they bring incomparable expertise in both the traditions and the future of narrative journalism.
John Hockenberry, Sam Pollard, Sherry Turkle, and the team of Anne Hull and Dana Priest will give Keynote addresses.
Breakout sessions will be led by returning favorites Jacqui Banaszynski, Roy Peter Clark, and Adam Hochschild, as well as an all-star lineup of new speakers like Elizabeth Farnsworth, Cynthia Gorney, Alex Kotlowitz, Marcus Mabry, and Khoi Vinh.
