Alice Dembner |
Alice Dembner, a medical reporter at the Boston Globe, covers aging, elder health and the uninsured, drawing on 28 years of experience reporting and editing. At the Globe, she has also been a member of the investigative Spotlight Team and an assistant metropolitan editor, supervising coverage of health, science and education. Earlier, she won the American Association of University Professors' national award for excellence in higher education reporting for a series on remedial education. She has previously worked as an editor at the Syracuse Post-Standard and as a reporter at the Daily Hampshire Gazette in Northampton, Mass. She holds a BA from Yale University in psycholinguistics. A native of New York City, she now lives in Needham, Mass.
