Welcome Students
The 2014 Christopher J. Georges Conference on College Journalism will be held at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard on April 4-5, 2014. During the two-day event, more than 70 students from 18 college newspapers in the Northeast will gather together to network with their peers and attend journalism lectures and training sessions led by award-winning journalists and news executives.
The Nieman Foundation is deeply grateful to the family of journalist Christopher J. Georges for their continued support of this annual conference, which provides aspiring young journalists with new ideas, skills and resources. The foundation is also thankful for the generous support of the speakers and volunteers from The Harvard Crimson, under the direction of Crimson President Samuel Weinstock, who have helped make the gathering possible.
